Designed and developed for Forest U.K.—a leading, UK commercial refrigeration service company—our iPad app, Mobile Fusion, really does exemplify enterprise mobile applications.
Forest suffered from several issues, inherent among companies that employ many remote field engineers: reams of paperwork, communication delays, and high data entry volume.
To resolve these issues and streamline Forest’s core business processes, we designed and built an iPad app and backend server system—integrating with Forest’s existing database—to facilitate communication between engineers and back office staff. So now instead of engineers filling in error prone forms, then faxing/mailing them to HQ where they are to be painstakingly entered into a central database, engineers simply fill out the iPad data and hit Complete Job.
